I am a Career Counselor at a private, liberal arts institution in the northeast. I enjoy lengthy conversations about many topics.
If you cannot find me, you should often look:1.) in local coffee shops, 2.) in my office, 3.) in the river or lake nearby (during fishing season), 4.) in the woods camping, 5.) in a library or nearby historic building 6.) in one of the many antique stores in the area, 7.) at a bookstore.
I am a career counselor by trade, which is a title that I often broaden to include: Counselor (sans “career”), Vocational Counselor (because, let’s be honest, I believe we’re all looking for that “calling” and vocation points to its roots in the Latin as vocare meaning “to call”), or Coach.
Though I enjoy working with students, I would expand my repertoire and say that I more generally enjoy working with people. I am a lover of knowledge; an individual with an insatiable curiosity for understanding others. Follow my blog, and you’re bound to learn more about me and what I enjoy having conversations about. Also, should note that if you are having a difficult time reaching me via the email address listed–stay tuned. I am planning on fixing this soon.
Cheers,
One Sojourner
